There is great political and economic uncertainty, we need to pull together to preserve what is  important in our community. And our people are what is important! 

With your help, 50 North can fulfill its mission of enriching lives and supporting the  independence of those in Findlay and Hancock County who are 50 and older. Our goals  are to help older adults be socially connected, participate in stimulating and rewarding  activities, enjoy better health, stay in their homes and live longer. Won’t you help us  accomplish these goals?

Your financial and volunteer support helps 50 North provide the following  services for people 50 and older in Hancock County:

  • Mobile meals

  • Grocery delivery

  • Curbside Café

  • Light chores

  • Visits by licensed social workers

  • Transportation in partnership with HATS

  • Recreational and social programs

  • And More!

In 2019, approximately 64% of our operating budget was funded by Hancock County’s  Senior Services Levy. Thirty-three percent (33%) of the operating budget is covered by  sliding scale service fees (based on ability to pay) assessed to individual participants for  food, fitness center, chore and housekeeping services and programming. We count on  our generous donors to make up the 2-3% difference. 

As the senior population in Hancock County grows, your gift helps ensure that  individuals 50+ receive the services they need to enrich their lives and remain living safely in their own homes. 50 North is a nonprofit organization and we are local!  Classified by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization, all gifts to 50 North are tax deductible  to the extent allowed by law.
