Sometimes when an organism is introduced to a new
ecosystem, it outcompetes with other plants, animals, and
fungi. These organisms are known as invasive species. They
steal precious resources from native species and can cause
extensive damage to food crops and the biodiversity of an
ecosystem. We will learn about invasive species in Ohio,
ones found in other parts of the country, and what can be
done to stop them. Pre-registration required. Free.
