The Native American story about the time of the “Maple Moon” will be told and how maple syrup was made in the Native American Sugar Bush by the stone boiling method. Learn how the pioneer sugaring camp was set up and how the McKinnis family would collect and process maple sap. Program will finish with a display of Maple sugaring tools, pictures, and syrups. Registration required. Free.
