Sewing: State Patchwork Applique Pillow/Wall Hanging

Let’s practice our appliquéing skills for this cute pillow. We will be creating a random patchwork square with fabrics of your choosing from our fabric stash at 50 North. This square will be cut into the shape of the state of Ohio or a state of your choosing that will fit correctly on an 18” x 18” pillow. The pillow top will be quilted and then appliqued with the state. A zipper back will be sewn for the pillow back. This can also be made into a wall hanging/table mat if desired. Instructor: Sharon Weddell. Experienced sewists are welcome to bring your own sewing machine in good working order. Registration and $45 due by July 13.
