UF Associate Professor of English, Dave Essinger’s first novel “Running Out” explores the sport of ultra-running, or races of longer than marathon distance, from 50k to 100 miles and beyond. A runner himself, Dave will talk about the importance of endurance in writing and publishing as well, and how all of these pursuits require patience and perseverance in mastering “the long game.” Advance registration required by September 30.
