UF Assistant Professor of English, Harley Ferris joins us to: discuss his recent collaboration with the university and community to create the new Center for Storytelling and Participatory Media (CSPM). Ferris will offer some examples of how digital storytelling benefits communities to bring people together through collecting and sharing stories about our lives and experiences. He will also preview upcoming local storytelling opportunities. Advance registration required by September 3. Open to everyone. Free
