Craft Corner: Cardinal Barn Quilt Painting

Local Barn Quilt Artist Bev Land helps us create a cardinal barn quilt suitable for hanging indoors and outdoors. The finished product will be 2′ x 2′ on a MDO exterior signboard. Participants will be using a wide variety of exterior house paints in a satin finish. Boards provided will already have two coats of exterior primer on both sides and all edges.

Each participant needs to bring the following equipment: yardstick, green or yellow 1/2″ FROG tape, white eraser, utility knife (razor cutter to cut through tape), hair dryer, and an extension cord. All other materials provided. No experience required. Advance registration and $43 fee required by July 19. Limited space.
