Afternoon Conversation: Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation & Dry Needling

Dr. Mark Boehler PT, DPT and Heather Heckman OTR/L, MOT from Quality PT will cover these two health topics.

Pelvic floor dysfunction is the inability to correctly contract and relax the muscles in the pelvic floor resulting in difficulty having a bowel movement or urinating, and/or urinary/bowel incontinence.

Dry Needling is a highly effective form of physical therapy used to treat a multitude of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions including, but not limited to, neck, back and shoulder pain, arm pain (tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, golfer’s elbow), headaches to include migraines and tension-type headaches, jaw pain, buttock pain and leg pain (sciatica, hamstrings strains, muscle cramps, calf tightness/spasms).
