With World War I barely over,
the United States’ new president, Warren G. Harding, found
himself with a mountain of social, economic and international
problems on his desk. Historians often interpret Harding’s
presidential campaign slogan, “A Return to Normalcy,” only as
a catchy – but empty – phrase. History often has a little-known
side, and we will discover how Harding set the course for
America’s next era. Sherry Hall, Director of the Harding
Home Presidential Site, presents. Advance registration and
$2 fee required by February 15.
