THE HEART OF AMISH COUNTRY BERLIN, OHIO Friday, October 5, 2018
Come to “The Heart of Amish Country” as we travel to BERLIN, OHIO.
You will get to experience how to forge metal at WENDELL AUGUST FORGE. You will work alongside artisans as you create a memento to take home. You will also receive a free Christmas ornament. Next we’ll visit an Amish home and enjoy a delicious meal from BOWMAN’S HOMECOOKING.The Bowman family will share a home-cooked meal and a few songs, plus answer any questions you have about the Amish. Then we’ll travel to HEINI’S CHEESE CHALET,home of the Original Yogurt Cheese. Try the many varieties of cheese, homemade fudge, bulk foods, jams, smoked meats and chocolates
and browse through the gift shop before we depart for Berlin to shop the many stores full of Amish goods. We’ll end the day at BOYD AND WURTHMANN RESTAURANT in Berlin for a meal, on your own, before departing for home. Check in at 7:00am, return at 9:30pm. Cost: $79 / $18
