Beyond the Door in German Village

German Village is a historic neighborhood that was primarily
developed and settled by German immigrants between
1840 and 1914. BEYOND THE DOOR IN GERMAN VILLAGE
invites you to explore two of the original private German Village
homes that have been renovated and redesigned by the efforts of
today’s residents. We’ll enjoy lunch at Schmidt’s Banquet Haus
for some true German food and entertainment followed by a
guided tour of Ohio’s capital city.  Afterwards, we travel to
Columbus’ only remaining true public market established in 1876.
More than 30 merchants vend a wide variety of fresh, local,
authentic food, flowers, distinctive gifts, and more. Enjoy dinner
on your own from one of the local vendors.
Trip fee includes transportation, tour fees, and lunch.
