The Great Big Home & Garden Show – CANCELLED

Visit the I-X CENTER IN CLEVELAND
to view the latest in technology and get ideas for your home &
garden all under one roof. The show will feature showcase gardens,
landscaping exhibits, and an idea home. The main, cooking and
garden stages will have on-going lectures and demonstrations.
Over 600 vendors/ booths will be available. A meal ticket for a
buffet lunch at the Fresh Market Café will be included. Trip fee
includes transportation, admission and lunch. Check in at 8:00
am, return by 6:30 pm. Cost: $80 / Cancellation Fee: $19

Spangler Candy Factory Tour – Bryan, Ohio
Mar 14 @ 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Your sweet tooth will be filled as we explore the
SPANGLER CANDY COMPANY, a family-owned private company
making candy since 1906 aboard the Dum Dum Trolley. Spangler
produces lollipops, candy canes, and marshmallow candies.
Enjoy the museum featuring historical information in a timeline
fashion, along with samples of products and other artifacts from
years past. Visit the store for Spangler products, gift baskets,
Dum Dums, t-shirts and more! Afterwards, we’ll enjoy lunch at                                                                                                                                                                                the Union Street Grille, one of Bryan’s hometown favorites.                                                                                                                                                                                 We will stop for ice cream, on your own, on the way home! Trip
fee includes transportation, tour & lunch. Check in at 8:00 am,

Historic Sauder Village & Quilt Show
May 1 @ 8:00 am – 6:00 pm

Walk through time from 1803-1928 on this selfguided
tour of one of Ohio’s largest living history destinations.
Explore the historic homes, farms, and gardens of SAUDER
VILLAGE. Northwest Ohio’s premier quilting event will be taking
place during your visit. Enjoy the hundreds of quilts that will be
on display. A lunch buffet will be provided in the historic Barn
Restaurant. A guided tour of Archbold will top off the day.
Trip fee includes transportation, admission, lunch, and guided
tour. Check in at 8:00 am, return by 6:00 pm. Cost: $70

“Wicked” at Stranahan Theater

See Broadway’s biggest blockbuster musical, “WICKED.”
This is the untold story of the Witches of Oz. Wicked looks at
what happened in Oz from a different angle and depicts how their
initial rivalry turns into the unlikeliest of friendships. We will have

Beyond the Door in German Village

German Village is a historic neighborhood that was primarily
developed and settled by German immigrants between
1840 and 1914. BEYOND THE DOOR IN GERMAN VILLAGE
invites you to explore two of the original private German Village
homes that have been renovated and redesigned by the efforts of
today’s residents. We’ll enjoy lunch at Schmidt’s Banquet Haus
for some true German food and entertainment followed by a
guided tour of Ohio’s capital city.  Afterwards, we travel to
Columbus’ only remaining true public market established in 1876.
More than 30 merchants vend a wide variety of fresh, local,
authentic food, flowers, distinctive gifts, and more. Enjoy dinner
on your own from one of the local vendors.

Historic Roscoe Village

Visit the restored 1800’s canal town
and learn how ROSCOE VILLAGE was once a bustling
cert of commerce on the Ohio & Erie Canal. You’ll visit the
nationally accredited Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum that
features collections of ancient Asian, Native American,
Euro-American and historic Ohio artifacts including the
Newark Holy Stones.  We’ll take a 45-minute canal
boat ride to experience life on the canal during the 1800’s
narrated by the Captain.  Then journey through the
living history exhibits and get a glimpse of life along the canal
in early Roscoe. Have lunch on your own during your
self-guided living history tour.  Finally, we enjoy dinner and
wine at RAVEN’S GLENN WINERY & ITALIAN
RESTAURANT.  Trip fee includes transportation,
canal boat ride, admission, and dinner.

Ohio River Lunch Cruise & Newport Aquarium

Cruise down the Ohio River on the BELL OF
CINCINNATI RIVERBOAT for a scenic ride while
enjoying a buffet lunch. Then visit the NEWPORT AQUARIUM
to experience the wonders of the underwater world around us.
The aquarium showcases thousands of animals from around
the world in a million gallons of water.  We will stop for dinner,

“Tecumseh!” Outdoor Drama
Aug 6 @ 1:30 pm – 11:45 pm

We will visit Sugarloaf Mountain for the historic
outdoor drama of “Tecumseh!” The performance depicts the
true epic life story of the Shawnee leader as he struggles to
unite all Native American tribes in an effort to stop the westward
push of the United States and defend his sacred homelands in
the Ohio country during the late 1700’s. We have VIP tickets
which include a Backstage Tour, Terrance Buffet dinner, and
great seats for the performance. Rain insurance is included.

Harry London Chocolate Factory & Stan Hywet Gardens

Join us for a guided tour high above the production
floor at the HARRY LONDON CHOCOLATE FACTORY.
Gilbert London taught his son, Harry, the fine art of confections
by using recipes and techniques from the family’s strong
European traditions. The tour ends in one of the largest
retail stores in the Midwest. There are over 500 varieties
of gourmet chocolate and candies available for gift-giving
or self-indulgence. Then we will travel to STAN HYWET
GARDENS for a boxed lunch at Mollie’s Café.
Afterwards we will divide into groups for a GRAND ESTATE
TOUR with guided tours of the Tudor Revival Manor House
and 70 acres of artistically landscaped grounds and formal
garden along with self-guided tours of the Gothic Revival
Conservatory and Gate Lodge.

“Happy Days” Amish Acres Round Barn Theater

Travel with us to Amish Acres in Nappanee, Indiana where we will enjoy the
Amish Threshers Meal in the Round Barn. The meal will include two meat entrees,
thick ham & bean soup, freshly baked bread & butter, locally made apple butter, cabbage salad,
country vegetables, beef & noodles, potatoes, bread dressing
& gravy, fresh fruit, cream pies, and vanilla date nut pudding,
along with beverages. Following dinner there will be free time
for shopping before the theatre production of “Happy Days”
begins in the Round Barn Theatre.

50 North travel is for adults 50+

When you are interested in a trip, please pay the deposit that is required at the time you make your reservation and pay the balance by the due date.

50 North reserves the right to cancel a trip for any reason. In the event that 50 North cancels a trip, money will be re- funded in a timely manner.

Guest cancellations AFTER the final payment date WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. If you are concerned about the possibility of a last minute cancellation, we recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance when available.

Day Trip Policy

Full Payment must accompany reservations for all day trips.

No refunds will be made after 2 weeks prior to the scheduled trip.

50 North will not be held liable for delays caused by acts of God, public enemies, riots, strikes, authority of law, accidents, break downs, road conditions or other cause beyond our control and does not guarantee to arrive at or depart from any point at a specified time.

No alcohol, drugs, smoking, or weapons.

When traveling with another tour company, their trip policy takes precedence.
