Then we’ll travel to HEINI’S CHEESE CHALET,home of the Original Yogurt Cheese. Try the many varieties of cheese, homemade fudge, bulk foods, jams, smoked meats and chocolates

Kingwood Center Gardens & Malabar Farm – SOLD OUT

KINGWOOD CENTER GARDENS is a historic
47-acre site with beautiful gardens, greenhouse and
Kingwood Hall. The facility develops and displays exemplary gardens on the former
estate of Charles Kelley King and offers activities and programs for the enjoyment and
understanding of the gardens and horticulture. Guests will take a guided tour then enjoy a
catered sack lunch before departing for Malabar Farm. At MALABAR FARM, guests divide into
groups to simultaneous take guided tours of the “Big House” and farm. In the house, learn about
Louis Bromfield’s life before and after his arrival to Pleasant Valley in 1939. Mr. Bromfield was
known for his active social life. He entertained guests like Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall.
During the tractor-drawn tour, discover the landmarks of Bromfield’s book “Pleasant Valley.”
The trip concludes with a buffet dinner at Der Dutchman Restaurant before departing for home.
